Eden Golf Safety Fence
Acora recently completed a Safety Fence for the Eden Sports & Recreation Club. The concept was to build a structure that would protect pedestrians from the 18th Green that was also vandal proof and long lasting.
Acora was tasked with the project in March 2025 and completed the installation early May 2025. The discussions around the specifications included:
- Must be strong /vandal proof – Steel Mesh panels
- Should blend into the landscape – Painted black to allow product to appear see-through
- Long Lasting – All components are galvanised steel
- Each panel was constructed individually and attached to the poles by hand made fixings
- Height requirements were 3.6m high with a 600mm gap underneath – posts were cut to length onsite
- Be effective and aesthetically pleasing – the structure speaks for itself!
